Convergence Design Services, formerly known as Blue Systems since 1990, is a premier contract design firm offering complete design solutions for Aerospace, Space, Electrical Vehicle/Robotics, AI, Smart IoT 5G, systems, mechanical, hardware, and production/certifications. Our experienced senior team specializes in augmenting small-medium sized companies' engineering departments to grow their bandwidth on demand. Convergence works closely with companies to meet or exceed product requirements through their phased design process.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Electrical Engineer at Convergence Design Services located in Arnprior, ON. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as electrical design, power distribution, power systems, and ensuring the integrity of hardware/software solutions. Some work from home is acceptable.
Qualifications
- Must reside in Canada
- Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills
- Proficiency in Electricity and Power Distribution
- Experience in Power Systems
- Certification experience in relevant standards (e.g., DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD)
- Knowledge of CAD tools like Altium, Allegro/Cadence, Mentor Graphics, KiCad
- Experience with industry leading tools for hardware/software solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
